These terms cover text messages from STATOX.

Who sends the texts
A member of our team writes and sends each text by hand, one at a time, about your request or job. We do not send bulk texts, and we do not text people who have not contacted us. The only automatic texts are the standard replies when you text STOP, START, or HELP.
What messages you will get
Service messages about a request or job you started with us:
- replies to your quote request and questions about the job;
- your written price;
- booking confirmations, reminders, and arrival updates, such as a text when we are about 30 minutes away;
- payment details, receipts, and refund notices;
- a follow-up after the job to check that everything is right.
Marketing messages, only if you check a separate box to receive them:
- seasonal offers and promotion codes;
- reminders about routine home maintenance.
You can sign up for service messages without signing up for marketing messages.
How you sign up
- On our website. Check the box on our quote or booking form that says you agree to receive service texts about your request. The box is never checked for you, and it is optional. After you sign up, we send one text to confirm.
- By texting us first. If you text us at our business text line, we reply about what you asked.
- Marketing texts need their own separate box, which is also optional and never checked for you. By checking it, you agree that STATOX may send occasional offers and maintenance reminders to the mobile number you gave us, up to 4 messages per month.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to texts to request a quote, book a visit, or buy any service. If you do not want texts, leave the boxes unchecked, and we will follow up on your request another way, for example by a phone call if you ask for one.
How often
Message frequency varies. Service messages depend on your job, usually a few per job. Marketing messages: up to 4 per month.
We send marketing messages only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in your local time.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for our texts. Ask your mobile carrier about your plan.
How to stop
Text STOP to our business text line at any time. CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, REVOKE, and OPT OUT also work.
You will get one text to confirm that you are unsubscribed. After that, you will get no more texts from us unless you sign up again. To sign up again, text START. If you opt out while a job is booked or in progress, we will contact you about that job another way, for example by a phone call.
You can also tell us in your own words, for example "please stop texting me," by email, or through the form on our site. We act on every opt-out request right away, and always within 10 business days.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Other terms
- By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission.
- If you change or give up your mobile number, please text STOP first so the next owner of that number does not get our messages.
- We may change these terms. We post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
